This great old truck belongs to a great (not so old) fellow named "Bob F." from Napa. It's a '65 Ford that came-in with a tired old straight 6 and a whooped 3 speed, and it left with a nice, aluminum headed "Street Beast" series 351W backed by a seriously built C-6 tranny with a 2,600 RPM stall converter. It pretty much got everything, from a new radiator and cooling system, to a custom built drive shaft, to a new exhaust system, to a new B&M shifter and all of the other cool goodies a true hot rod truck should have. Now it bakes the tires without any effort and is as reliable as any new truck off the show room floor, (except with about twice as much power and ten times the fun!) Bob had an ear to ear grin when he came to pick it up, and we're glad he's enjoying his newly refurbished toy. Next on the list is a power disc brake conversion.
