383 with Stealth Ram EFI
383 with Stealth Ram EFI

This gorgeous street engine is one of our killer running, full roller 383's with other goodies such as polished aluminum heads and a polished aluminum "Stealth Ram" EFI system among other things. There are numerous types of EFI systems we install for all kinds of different applications. That's the beauty of getting a custom built engine rather than some wanna-be, generic crate engine. You get it the way YOU want it. We can set any one of our engines up with EFI systems. You can expect to pay a bit more for an EFI equipped engine though. On average, an EFI system alone can easily run anywhere from $2,000 on up to over $6,000 depending on what kind you get, so they aren't for penny pincher's, that's for sure.

As far as basics go, this particular engine has a steel crank, I-beam rods, forged pistons, an after market hydraulic roller cam and lifters, ARP bolts everywhere, the EFI manifold is port matched to the heads and a whole slew of other goodies. Something like this, with the polished EFI system, polished heads, etc. can easily run in the $9,500 or so area, and depending on the variables of what you want, can add more to that cost pretty fast. Like we always say, if owning a nice, high quality show piece like this was cheap, EVERYONE would have one in their car, and that just isn't the case. As with pretty much anything.... ya get what ya pay for.
