This is a Ford small block equipped with a power making 4 barrel EFI system. If you want big time torque, easy starting, great gas mileage and tunability for altitude, cold or hot days and so on, then this is the way to go for sure. These are quite a bit more pricey than a carburetor though. You can expect to pay anywhere from $2,000 on up to over $4,500 for a good EFI system alone, (on top of the engine price). Hey, good things don't come cheap. We also build EFI big blocks and many other EFI equipped engines.

Something like this would typically run in the $9,000 or so area. Add beefier internals and more external goodies (valve covers, oil pan, water pump, starter, etc.), and the price can jump another $500 - $1,000 or so pretty fast.
