Below are swap meet and car show dates for the San Francisco Bay Area.

Before you go to ANY event listed below, ALWAYS contact the event staff ahead of time in case it was canceled, had a date or time change, etc.  I provide this information as a free courtesy for gear heads. I take no responsibility for the accuracy of the info provided.

January

1st - Sonoma: 2nd Annual Sonoma Raceway Swap Meet. 7am - 1pm. Free admission & parking for shoppers. Auto-themed featuring Raceway shops & sellers from the Bay Area selling vehicles, engine components, replacement parts & much more from historics to classics & beyond. 14th - 16th: Sacramento Autorama at Cal Expo. Now in its 64th year, the Sacramento Autorama is “The Kustom Capital of the World” and boasts being home to one of longest running indoor car shows in the world. The Autorama is recognized as the premiere custom car show on the West Coast. The Show will feature over 450 of the finest custom cars, hot rods, classics, motorcycles, and specialty vehicles from around the county. Show times are Friday 12pm - 8pm, Saturday 10am - 8pm, Sunday 10am to 6pm. Admission $20.00 adults (ouch!), $10.00 kids 6-12. Kids 5 & under are free. Parking $10.00. 13th - Lodi: Swap Meet & Car Show held at the Lodi Festival Grounds at 413 East Lockeford St. in Lodi from 6am to 2pm. $5.00 admission / Free parking. Open to automotive and collectible items Big 20 x 20 spaces only $20.00. Autos for sale or for show are $15.00 per vehicle. Dash plaques to the first 100 entries. Over 20 trophies awarded. Overnight set-up or camp out OK on Saturday the 12th from 2pm to 8pm. Overnight security provided. 6th - Brisbane: Laf-a-lots present their 4th Annual Last Laf Car Show and Swap Meet located at 2801 Bayshore Blvd. from 9am - 4:30 pm. Open to all hot rods, rat rods, customs, lowriders, motorcycles, stockers and anything else that catches your eye going down the road! 9th - Turlock: "Bring The Ruckus Car Show and Concert" is a car show like no other! This show features 4 live bands, hop contest, vehicle limbo, kids corner, food, huge raffle, vendors and more. 16th - Folsom: April Spring Fling. Attend one of the biggest and best car events in the Greater Sacramento area. The Capital City Cruisers in cooperation with the Palladio Mall and Gifts From The Heart invite you to join us for Great Food; Great Shopping; Great Entertainment; and Great Cars at a Great Venue. We’re expecting 400 of Northern California’s finest Hot Rods; Street Rods; Muscle & Classic Cars to be in attendance. The Palladio is located at 410 Palladio Parkway in Folsom, has 55 Plus Stores, 6 Restaurants, 16 Movie Theaters, and will be the place to be! 16th - Sacramento: Sacramento Classic Car & Parts Swap Meet at the Sleep Train Arena (formerly the Arco Arena). THIS IS A HUGE TRADITIONAL STYLE SWAP MEET WITH OVER 11,000 SPACES!! Vendor & Car Corral SPACES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE GATE ON SATURDAY. NOBODY WILL BE TURNED AWAY! Pre-registration closes March 18, 2016. Vendor, Commercial, and Car Corral spaces are available. 16th - 24th - Redding: 27th annual Kool April Nites at Redding Civic Auditorium as well as MANY other places where show & shines will be taking place. This is a week long event with way too much to list here. You really need to visit their web site to get all of the info or you're really going to miss out. This is a GREAT event and WELL worth the drive to Redding! Great cars, great music, great food, tons of bobby sox and ponytails. Bigger and better than ever! You'll find: Miles of Classic Cars * Show and Shines * Trophies * Food * Music * Dances and more fun than two people in a rumble seat at the drive-in. 23rd - Carmichael: 4th Annual Carmichael Elks Classic Car Show featuring Muscle Cars as well as Classic Collector cars, vintage years 1919 through 1975. We will invite owners of late model non-show competition cars to be displayed in the parking lot facing Cypress Avenue. Show Cars will be displayed in our spacious and shady back yard featuring a wide variety of vehicles that are entered into the judging contest from many of the local car clubs for your viewing pleasure. This year we are anticipating 100 or more cars and some car parts and merchandise vendor booths. For those early bird folks that want to enter their cars early to get the best shady parking spots, we recommend that you register early and arrive around sun rise. Early registrants (by April 1, 2016) are treated to a complementary Continental breakfast wrist band. Day of show entrants pay the $5.00 regular Continental breakfast price, including coffee service. The purpose of the show is to raise funds for the Lodge Beautification Project that will allow the Carmichael Elks to increase memberships and provide more capacity to hold charitable events for the benefit of the community. All cash donations and/or unique raffle prize donations are gratefully accepted! Last year, donated bottles of wine and spirits were raffled off and that raffle netted $100 for our Fund! 24th - 28th - San Francisco: California Mille 2016 will bring 67 historic cars from all over the world to San Francisco to salute Italy’s most famous open road race, the Mille Miglia. 24th - Benicia: 23rd annual Classic Car Show at the 1st St Green at the beautiful downtown waterfront. the Benicia Classic Car Show will bring together classic car owners and enthusiasts from all over the Bay Area for a day of fun, music, and competition. The event will be hosted by a dedicated group of Benicia High School Band students, their booster friends and families. All proceeds go directly to support our award-winning Benicia High School Panther Marching Band program. 15th - Redwood City: Friendship Day for 2016 is in a new location. 3 Lagoon Dr. in the Redwood Shores district of Redwood City. That's the Marine Parkway (Ralston Ave.) exit off hwy 101. We are east of 101 between Oracle and The Hotel Sofitel. This is our 41st event and we hope that it will be one of our best. We generally have approximately 400 to 450 vehicles (rain did bring that down to 125 once) and they are of all makes, models and years. There is no judging, and no reservations. The event usually runs from just before 8am to about 3pm. There is a $15 entrance fee with complimentary coffee and doughnuts for the early birds. 15th - Petaluma: 42nd annual Petaluma Swap Meet sponsored by the Redwood Empire Regional Group of the Early Ford V8 Club at the Petaluma fairgrounds located at Hwy 101 at Washington St. Gates open at 5:00am. 16th - El Dorado Hills: 3nd Annual Scott Santana Live On, Drive On! car, bike, truck, boat, whatever show. If you are proud of it, bring it!! 35$ gets you a T-shirt, lunch, goodie bag, and dash plaque. Plus, it gets you front row seat for live music, a cacklefest, fantastic views, and great company. This show is a scholarship fund raiser for the Scott Santana Scholarship Foundation, and also raises awareness for Organ, Eye, and Tissue Donation. Scott (scottsantana.org) was a 17 year old car guy who loved all things with motors and wheels. He lost his life in 2011, but he gave life to 5 others with his decision to be an Organ Donor (the Pink Dot). There is no year cut off. We invite all kinds of vehicles. 16th - Marysville: The Linda Lions car / bike show and auto swap in downtown Marysville at 3rd and D St. Registration is $15 and begins at 7:30. Open to all years, makes and models. Awards, prizes raffle food etc.

17th - Brisbane: Benefit By The Bay Car Show located at the Sierra Point Yacht Club 500 Sierra Point Parkway in Brisbane from 10am to 3pm. 17th - Red Bluff: 41st Annual River Park Car Show. Always on the 3rd Sunday of May. 100 River Park Way. The Contemporary Historical Vehicle Association (CHVA), Mt Shasta Region, invites you to enjoy a relaxing day next to the Sacramento River. All street legal cars and trucks from antiques through 25 years old are welcome. People's Choice trophy awards, 50-50 raffle, raffle prizes. Food and drinks available on site. Free for Spectators. 19th - 21st - Petaluma: Salute to American Graffiti. Did you know that the movie American Graffiti was mostly filmed in Petaluma? It was 1972 and George Lucas used Petaluma to film what many believe is his best movie. Petaluma's Salute to American Graffiti is a classic car show and cruise held on the same streets that the movie was filmed on. Starting on May 19, 2016 with the roar of over 400 classic cars as they cruise into Petaluma for the show. Join us as we dance at our Sock Hop. On Friday, May 20th, cruise on over to our get together party for a visit with old friends or new ones. On May 21st, we all head to downtown Petaluma where we park all the classic cars on the same streets that Milner cruised on. See if you can find all the filming spots, Follow Curt's footsteps in trying to track down that T-Bird or look for the Wolfman at our XERB radio station. At 4pm, you will hear the roar of those classic cars as we open the streets for some cruising, American Graffiti style.
