Fred's 66 Corvette

Fred's 66 Corvette

This beautiful 66 Vette belongs to Fred Biagi. It's a nice, stock looking car until you look under the hood and find a full roller, fully forged, fully ported aluminum head 350 with a custom set of Weber down draft carbs. Fred wanted something different than everyone else has, so we came-up with this fun little power plant. We installed a whole new exhaust system and did a whole bunch of other neat little goodies such as the billet serpentine pulleys and a smoothed-out engine block to name a couple. Whenever you run open throat carbs / manifolds like this, you can't go too radical on the cam profile or the head size, so this engine is a little on the tame side compared to a lot of the engines we build, but it still packs enough punch to roast the tires with the car sideways in the lane and still drive like a dream around town with awesome throttle response and great low / mid range torque. Put it this way... it'll eat-up and spit out the factory 327 that came in the car by a long shot, and it looks awesome too! The car went right from our shop, to the body shop for some new paint. Fred wanted it to be a different color, so we'll post some new pics of the car when it comes back. By the way, if you are a Nascar fan, Fred owns the #4 "Geico" Dodge car that runs in the Busch Series.
