Blown 289 Ford

Blown 289 Ford

This is something you don't see everyday, a Roots type supercharged Ford. Most people running Ford's use a centrifugal type supercharger such as a Vortech, Paxton, ProCharger, etc. This little beast is going into a '64 Mercury Comet "gasser". It is built to be vintage era. It's an early "5 bolt" 289 with all of the trimmings to keep it era yet strong, with forged pistons, 4340 rods, a billet main support, etc., plus it has nicely ported heads, a roller valve train, a port matched intake manifold and of course that Dyers 6-71 huffer topped off with a pair of little Holley 600's. Even the scoop is unique being a rare Holman Moody piece.
