Greg's '73 LT
This clean '73 Camaro belongs to Greg Dito. It looks tame enough on the outside but under the hood is a 1971 LT-1 350 cloned power plant with 11:1 compression and all, plus 4.11 gears and a 2,000 RPM stall converter. It scoots right along.
It needed a bit of TLC to get it running nice, so Greg brought it to us after getting the run around by a couple of other shops that obviously didn't know much about performance cars. We gave it a good tune up, made a set of custom wires for it, re-curved the distributor, installed a MUCH better carb than it had on it, and did a few other adjustments here and there to make it run better. Now this little LT-1 screams! Greg was very happy. Hre is what he had to say;
Hi Arron.....All I can say is WOW! The Camaro drives incredible. Much more power, much smoother, much stronger. I even had it up to 65mph at about 3500 rpm and it felt fantastic. At 55 and 3000 before it felt like it was going to blow. I can't thank you enough. Its now a keeper.
