Frank's el Camino

Frank's el Camino

This cool el Camino belongs to a local Sonoman named Frank. The 350 in it was really tired and had a flat cam when it came-in, so it got a full rebuild with some upgrades, including better breathing / big valve head castings, hypereutectic pistons with a point higher in compression, ARP bolts everywhere, a much healthier cam, an Edelbrock intake manifold and a recurved distributor to name a few, plus a 2,800 RPM stall converter, some nice ceramic coated headers and a new exhaust system. Later came a disc brake conversion and the cowl hood seen in the picture. Now it runs real strong. Frank is a very happy guy now.
