Blown & Intercooled 540

This blown & intercooled 540 gasser was specially built for Jesse James' custom offshore race boat. It's based on a Dart "Big M" race block and has all forged internals, ARP studs, forged JE blower pistons, a nasty billet roller cam, AFR 357 heads, Comp Cams roller valve train, a water cooled intercooler, a Blower Shop 8-71 huffer, and a pair of Quick Fuel carbs on top.
You can expect to shell-out upwards of $24,000 - $26,000 for something like this, depending on the variables and how much you want with it. That custom billet pulley system alone was over $2,000, and a SuperChiller intercooler can run a couple of thousand $ by it self too, so you get the idea. It all adds-up REAL fast, but hey, if it were cheap and easy to have a monster engine like this then EVERYBODY would have one... and that's just not the case... for a reason.

This is the boat this engine is now in. It has propelled this boat to 110+ MPH! That's moving for a boat of this size with one engine propelling it. Boats of this size are usually twin engine.
