John's 66 Chevelle

This incredibly gorgeous and bad to the bone 66 SS-396 Chevelle came-in to get "woken-up". It had been modified by the prevbious owner with a GM 502 crate engine and TKO 5 speed tranny. The new owner simply wasn't satisfied with the lack of power that 502 had, so out came that engine and in went a seriously bad to the bone 540 cubic inch BEAST that dyno'd at a whopping 709 HP on 93 octane gas! Other additions while it was here was removing the TKO 5 speed and installing a seriously built TH-400 with a 3,200 RPM stall converter and a Gear Vendor overdrive. It also got a set of 4.10 rear gears while it was here, plus a slew of other little things. Needless to say the acceleration is off the charts. This car is an easy 10 second street car now in full street trim.

She's black and beautiful, and smooth as glass.

The power plant lurking under the hood in this black beauty is a 540 cubic inch BEAST that dyno'd at a whopping 709 HP! It has all forged internals, fully CNC'd 357cc heads, a solid roller cam, and lots of other "go fast" goodies, topped off with a street dominator carb. Needless to say, when you mash the gas... it's ON baby! This is an EASY 10 second street car now.
