John's 58 Impala

This nice little 58 Impala cruiser came in to have an air conditioning system installed. We install a LOT of A/C systems in early hot rods, cruisers, muscle cars, etc. Vintage Air claimed they didn't have a kit for this particular year or model of car, nor a kit to convert the original dash controls over, so we simply fabricated a kit of our own and made it all work, look and function REALLY nice. We converted the original heater controls over to full electronic so they look original but they don't use cables like the original controls did. This took some "doing" because they don't really make a kit for this car, but we did it anyway, as well as all of the under dash stuff so it would all fit. Now this baby blows nice cold air on those hot summer days and makes cruising around in this little beast a LOT more fun.
