547 Ford stroker

This beast is a 547 cubic inch big block. It's a not too common size where usually Ford big block strokers come in at 521 and 545 cubic inches, but this one features a Ford A-460 race block with a massive 4.500" bore, so it's a bit different than most other big block strokers.

The engine features a Scat steel crank, Scat H-beam rods, light weight forged Diamond pistons, Total Seal plasma moly / iron ductile rings, Clevite H series bearings, a custom ground hydraulic roller cam with light weight transfer bar type roller lifters, Kaase Racing P-51 heads, chrome moly push rods, Comp Cams roller rockers, a port matched dual 4 intake manifold, topped off with dual, custom built Quick Fuel Technology carbs.

A beast like this can make an easy 550 - 650 HP on pump gas, and better yet, 600 - 700 Ft Lbs of raw, axle twisting torque! Of course with any custom built engine this all depends on the variables such as the cam profile, head type and runner size, induction system, etc, etc, so it can be custom tailored to your exact and specific needs, which you just can't get with any of the generically built, off the shelf pre-built crate motors out there. Something like this can easily run you in the $13,000 - $15,000 area depending on how complete you want it and how many outer accessories you want with it, but that's the beauty of getting a custom built engine.. you get it the way YOU want it!
